Knicks’ Cleanthony Early Robbed At Gun Point

New York Knicks’ forward Cleanthony Early was shot in the knee early this morning after being robbed at gunpoint. According to the N.Y. Daily News, after leaving Cityscapes Gentlemen’s club with his girlfriend, they both got into an Uber when their car was cut off shortly after. The group of men all had on ski masks and two of the men had guns. They robbed Early for his gold chains, Iphone6, cash and his gold caps in his teeth all before shooting him in his right knee.

Thankfully Early was taken to Elmhurst hospital and all injuries don’t appear to be life threatening. His girlfriend was not harmed in the incident.

The Knicks released a statement saying, “We are aware of what occurred with Cleanthony Early this morning and are relieved that he is not in a life-threatening situation,” the team said. “We will not comment any further until we receive more information.”
